Portrait Day at Jurassic Park

Four jovial theropods graced our humble outdoor studio on Saturday last, insistent upon portraits. They struck quite ferocious, even terrifying poses, which belied the general merriment and banter that transpired between sittings. Their ability to maintain these poses with perfect stillness--sans head-braces--was truly impressive. Alas, M. Soleil was much less cooperative, one moment resting behind les nuages, and the next, fairly blasting our enterprise with his rays. Although I attempted to ameliorate this effect with reduced exposure, overly bright images remained the less than satisfactory result. My clients, however, were quite pleased with their portraits, and after many pleasantries, made their way to a nearby public house to celebrate their immortalization in the collodion art.
